It is a high-precision, high-reliability synchronous clock device. The clock organically combines high-stability rubidium oscillator with GPS high-precision timing, frequency measurement and time synchronization technology, so that the output frequency of the rubidium oscillator is tame and synchronized with the GPS satellite cesium atomic clock signal. The long-term stability and accuracy of the frequency signal are improved, and a high-precision time-frequency standard of the order of cesium clock can be provided. It is a cost-effective product to replace cesium clocks in communication, broadcasting and other departments.

Working principle:

The 1pps signal output by the rubidium atomic clock is obtained by dividing the frequency of the rubidium oscillator frequency signal. And it is synchronized with the UTC time output by the GPS, and can overcome the influence of the GPS receiver second pulse signal jump. It’s a true recurring “UTC time base”. When the GPS loses lock or is abnormally unavailable, the system can intelligently judge, switch to the rubidium clock for punctuality, and continue to provide high-reliability time-frequency signals.

Product advantages and applications:

The rubidium atomic clock is traceable and synchronized to the GPS satellite cesium atomic clock, and the output frequency has almost no drift. Therefore, there is no need to send it to the upper-level metrology department for periodic calibration, and the performance is close to the cesium clock, but it is far lower than the price of the cesium clock, and there is no problem of the short life of the cesium beam tube that requires high-cost replacement like the cesium clock. The rubidium atomic clock is very suitable for the 1st and 2nd level node clocks of SDH digital synchronous network, providing high-precision time and frequency reference for electric power, telecommunication, radio and television, time statistics, measurement calibration, radar equipment, etc.
