According to different working principles, it can be divided into voltage-controlled crystal oscillator VCXO (Voltage Controlled X'tal Oscillator), which is an active crystal oscillator that controls the output frequency by adjusting the voltage; temperature-compensated crystal oscillator TCXO (Temperature Compensate X'tal (crystal) Oscillator), which is a quartz crystal oscillator that reduces the oscillation frequency variation caused by ambient temperature changes through an additional temperature compensation circuit. Constant-temperature quartz crystal oscillator OCX0 (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator) is a quartz crystal oscillator that places the crystal in a constant-temperature tank, sets a constant-temperature working point, keeps the tank at a constant temperature, and is not affected by the external temperature within a specified range, so as to achieve a stable output frequency effect. This type of product has the advantages of good transmission, strong anti-interference, and power saving. It is mostly used in communications and military aviation radar electronics, scientific research and measurement (atomic clocks, measuring equipment, telemetry, remote sensing, remote control), industrial fields (communications, telecommunications, mobile/cellular/portable terminals, aviation, navigation, instrumentation, computers, digital equipment, displays, disk drives, modems, identification and authentication systems, sensors), automobiles (automobile engine control, frame control computers, medical devices, navigation instruments, sensors) and other high-end fields.
